TagesWoche Newscoop 4.4 Implementation
Subscription plugin
This page should document the desired frontend- and backend behaviour of the memberships on TagesWoche.ch. Including the settings in the Paywall and TagesWoche extra plugin.

Basic Membership
If you register as a user on TagesWoche.ch you will automatically become a Basic member of the TagesWoche community: You d´ont have to pay anything but you can access almost all content, apart from the current weekly issues in the app and the browser. As a Basic member you can manage your public profile in the dashboard (see screen below). E-Mail and username as unique identifiers can not be changed by the user itself.

Membership Tab (status basic member)
This is the view of the Basic membership. It looks highly irritating since the Enthusiast is selected, but this is a client wish to push users to become paying members. The Basic membership is also highlighted and that indicates the status of the basic membership.
Paid memberships (Enthusiast, Supporter, Gönner)
Paid memberships do not give the users any extra benefits. Only in the combination with the print subscription the user will get access also to the weekly issue in the browser and the native App.

Company membership
Companies will have certain extra features enabled. They get extra fields to enhance their public profile and can post as many Classifieds as they want.

Changing membership type from Basic to a paid membership (Enthusiast, Supporter, Gönner)
To change a membership users need to click on the desired type and fill in the form popping up in the model. In the screen below is shown how a user changes to become a Supporter.

Trial membership Supporter started
The user will receive a Client ID vial (Paper-)Mail and can should fill it in the respective field showing up here to start the official membership and stop the trial period which lasts for 30 days.

Trial periods and changing memberships during trail period
If ordering a paid membership there will be a trial of 30 days starting which allows the user to benefit from the extras of the respective membership immediately. The trial period will only be active once for the selected membership and can not be exceeded by changing to another type of membership during the trial period.
If you had trial once (it expired) and you subscribe for example to an Enthusiast membership you will still be basic, but your membership will be in activation process, which means your label wont be displayed.
